Complete With New Members and a New Perspective, Chiodos Prepares for Album Release and Tour

After some brief turmoil in which popular post hardcore sweethearts Chiodos swapped out their beloved lead singer Craig Owens and drummer Derrick Frost, they are now ready to continue their quest at musical domination.  Bringing along the likes of Atreyu, blessthefall, Architects (delightful UK band), and Endless Hallway, Chiodos will embark on a full US and Canada adventure titled the “Congregation of the Damned Tour”.  During this tour the band will unveil it’s newest members, vocalist Brandon Bolmer and drummer Tanner Wayne.  To go along with the new musicians, the band will also showoff some tunes from their forthcoming album Illuminado, due out on October 5th.  If long-time Chiodos fans are worried that the powerful live shows the band became known for may have departed along with the old band members, they needn’t be.  Wayne assures us all that the energy level and passion will be apparent more than ever on the upcoming tour.

“I believe that if I have only a thirty minute set that I should show the kids the time of their life,” the drummer relays.  “I like playing very aggressively and I’m constantly pushing myself to do more creative things whether it’s during the writing process or live.  I like to play very hard and perform the very best every single night.  This is what I love to do, and I’m very blessed to be able to do it, especially with a band I’ve looked up to for years.”

The tour kicks off October 20th and is sure to be coming to a venue near you, so snag your tickets before it’s too late.
